OBITUARY Sidney N. White April 21, 1924 – December 24, 2018 Sidney Noble White went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2018 at 94 years old. He was born on April 21, 1924 in Mansfield, Louisiana and grew up most of his life in Bossier City, Louisiana. Sidney joined the Army in 1943 and served his country during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carrye O’Delia Wagner and his father, Samuel Nicholas White, one brother, William ‘Bill’ White and two sisters, Cleo Virginia Adams and Rae O’Melia Lyman. Sidney met Alice, his loving wife of 70 years, at Castle Printing Company where he was a pressman for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife; his two daughters, Deborah Lynn Scheibner of Benbrook, Texas and Pamela Ann Lammert (John) of Richland Hills, Texas; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Sidney will be remembered for many of his qualities, but notably his generosity, his gentleness, his caring for his family and his love for music. The family would like to thank the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in the Comfort Care Unit for all the tremendous care and compassion they showed our father during his illness.
