Batesburg – Mrs. Sieglinde Helene Dora Paul Morgan, 87, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019. Mrs. Sieglinde is the mother of Sigrid Karr of Clinton, ME, Elroy (Kelly) Morgan of Charleston, ME, Nancy (James) Norton of Salley, SC, and the late Wilfried Mesch. She is the grandmother of Joshua Karr, Justin Morgan, Michaela (Darrin) Glidden, and the late Shane Wood-Norton, and great grandmother of Skyelar Morgan.

Mrs. Sieglinde is the sister of Gerhard Paul, and Günther (Marlies) Paul of Germany, and the late Ursula Heinrich, and Werner Paul. She was married to the late Wesley Lee Morgan. Mrs. Sieglinde was born in Manschnow, Germany to the late Otto and Dora Schneider Paul.

Mrs. Sieglinde grew up during WWII and endured many hardships. She came to America in 1967 and became a Maine resident until 2015 when she moved to South Carolina. She enjoyed living independently and going to the senior center.

She was always a hardworking and kind woman. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and gardening. She loved growing flowers.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1975. She enjoyed attending meetings at the Kingdom Hall and talking to others about God’s Kingdom and its future blessings. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4351 Highway # 23, Batesburg, SC 29006.

Burial will be at a later date in Williams Cemetery, Bradford, Maine.
