Obituary for Sigrid Charlotte Haddix Our mother, Sigrid Charlotte Haddix passed away on the morning of April 14, 2018. Born in Gersdorf, Germany on September 18, 1934, she lived a long life filled with joy and grief. A petite woman of five foot one, she labored in factories and vineyards to come home and work some more.

Cherishing her house, cooking, and gardening, she never sat idle, having no problem busting our chops when we did. Not one to mince words she told it like it was sometimes leaving us in tears of anger. She pushed us to give us opportunity.

She pushed so we would be strong, successful women. We miss you, Mama. We hope Dad is waltzing you across the room and you’re no longer in pain.

We love you; Sophia, Stephanie, and Michaela. Services to be held at a later date. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
