Obituary for Sonny Childs Campbell Sonny Childs Campbell, 86, of Wellford, SC, died Saturday, December 8, 2018, at his home. Born November 13, 1932, in Abbeville, SC, he was a son of the late Graydon and Essie Childs Campbell. A U. S. Army veteran, Mr. Campbell attended Spartanburg Technical College, Piedmont Technical Education Center, and retired from computer technology.

Survivors include his children, Gina Campbell of Doncaster, England and Susan Bennett (A. J.) of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Kayleigh Williams (Richard), Danielle Featherstone (Bobby), Sierra Bennett, and Lucas Bennett; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Eva Ruth Griffin of Florida. Funeral and committal services with military rites, will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, December 17, 2018, at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306, by his son-in-law, Pastor A. J. Bennett.

Visitation will follow the service. Memorials may be made to McKnight Crossings Church, 2515 South McKnight Road, St. Louis, MO 63124; or Kindred Hospice, 905 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
