OBITUARY Sophia Bokoch March 2, 1928 – December 22, 2018 Sophia Bokoch, 90, passed away on December 22, 2018 in Durham, North Carolina, after a long illness. She was born on March 2, 1928 in Greene County, PA and graduated from Cumberland High School where she lettered in Basketball. In 1946 she married Charles Bokoch and moved to Philadelphia, PA.

She worked outside the home but always had time for her family, friends, and her Russian Orthodox faith. Sophie, as she was known to her family and friends, was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bokoch, her 3 sisters and brother. She is survived by her daughter, Sonja Kaminski of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren Mark Frandsen (Jordan) of Denver, CO, and Michelle Larson (John) of Gill, CO; great grandchildren, Luke, Jack and Malin Larson of Gill, CO and many loving nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sophia’s name, should be made to the hospice organization or medical charity of your choice.
