Stanley F. Radzai, 101 of Canonsburg formerly of Gettysburg passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 in McMurray Hills Manor. He was born on May 8, 1917 in Kulpmont to Alex and Alice Chalico Radzai who preceded him in death. On September 20, 1943 he married Josephine Santell who passed away on February 14, 1987.

We was a veteran having served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Radzai was a receipent of the Bronze Star and was stationed at Pearl Harbor during World War II. He retired after many years being employed as a steelworker.

Mr. Radzai had many interests and hobbies including boating, building things, and his true passion which was flying and anything to do with airplanes. He is survived by his two children his daughter Janice Dumont (Joel) of Cecil and his son Robert Radzai (Karen) of Gettysburg, one grandchild Jilian Falbo (Michael) of Canonsburg, one great grandson Dominic Falbo and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister Mary Saukaitus and one brother Benjamin Radzai.

Friends are welcome from 6~8 p.m on Sunday, September 9, 2018 in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, LFD, owner/supervisor and Darla A. Tripoli, LFD, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120 where a Blessing Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2018. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville at 10:30 a.m. with full military rites accorded by the VFW Post #191 of Canonsburg and the United States Army Honor Guard. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Washington County Humane Society, 1527 PA-136, Eighty-Four, PA 15330 or The Washington City Mission Patriot House, 84 West Wheeling Street, Washington, PA 15301.
