Obituary for Stanley Gehrke Stanley E. Gehrke, age 95, of Antigo, died Friday, December 7, 2018 at Rosalia Gardens under the care of Le Royer Hospice. Stanley was born on May 26, 1923 to the late Fred and Eleanor (Scheer) Gehrke in Grafton, WI. He graduated from Grafton High School and then served in the US Army during World War II.

He was united in marriage to Eunice Theisen on September 6, 1980 in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death on June 5, 2018. Stanley worked for the United States Postal Service.

He resided in Thiensville and Milwaukee. In 2000, he and Eunice moved to Antigo. Stanley was a member of the American Legion.

He was also a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. Survivors include his daughter, Susan, sons, Roy (Marilyn), Ted, and Don, their shared children, Michael Buettner, Robert (Michelle) Buettner, Daniel (Kelly) Buettner, Barbara (Terry) Murray, Charlene (Owen) Clayton, Colleen Kupfer, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Stanley was preceded in death by a son Robert.

A memorial service will be held on December 15 at 3:00 PM at Rosalia Gardens located at 519 Flight Road, Antigo, Wisconsin. Reverend Michael Spaude will officiate. There will be visitation from 2:00 until the time of service at Rosalia Gardens.
