Lorain – Stanley Koziura, 71, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic – Avon Hospital. Stan was a lifelong Lorain resident born on September 4, 1947 to his parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Simonic) Koziura. He is survived by his brothers, Joseph (Kitti), Walter (Patty), Richard, Ronald (Judy), and David (Sue) Koziura; sisters, Marilyn (Ray) Bombac, Louise Shearer, Judy (Jim) Hardesty, Joyce (Frank) Nedveski, and Diane (Mike) Swartz; fiancée, Doreen Passanisi; daughters, Christine and Kelley; and multiple nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his parents, Joseph and Mary Koziura. The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain (440) 244-1961 on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 11:30 AM, Pastor Chuck Behrens, officiating.

Christian burial services will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, OH with military honors. Online condolences and gifts of sympathy may be shared with the family by using www. rsgfuneralhome.com.
