Stanley’s Obituary Stanley Lemiesz Sr, 88, of Rockford, departed from this world on Saturday, March 16, 2019. He was born on May 2, 1930 in Poland to Stanley and Feliksa Lemiesz and lived many years in Rockford, coming here from Poland. He married Apolonia Pawelska in Poland on May 7, 1952 and was employed as a Machine Operator by National Lock for 27 years.

Stanley was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, White Eagle Club, Polish National Alliance and Polish Falcons. He liked gardening, singing in the St. Stanislaus Choir and he loved to travel. He is survived by his wife Apolonia, his children Stanley Sr (Linda) Lemiesz, Chris (Dale) Winemiller, Mary (John) Bianchi, Harriet (Carl) Banerian, and Tom (Beth) Lemiesz, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by his 3 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral mass will be at 11AM on Thursday March 21, 2019 in St. Stanislaus Church. Visitation will be from 10-11AM on Thursday morning in the church.

Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family due to Lent.
