Stella Hricik, 95, of Town of Maine, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the home she built with her husband John. Stella was predeceased by her husband John; son-in-law, Terry Longo; and two brothers-in-law, George Zevan and Richard Stever. She is survived by her loving family; son, John (Susie) Hricik; two daughters, Jean (Harold Johnson) Hricik and Eileen Longo; three grandchildren, James (Jennifer) Drake, Kenneth (Tosh) Longo and Sara Hricik (David Myers); eight great grandchildren, Kylee Ballard, Oceana Thomas (Cody Huffman), Melia Thomas, Deegan Longo, Kendahl Longo, Shelby Longo, Ethan Drake and Emmi Drake; one great great grandson, Mason Berry; two sisters, Adeline Zevan and Pauline Stever; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins and a long line of past and present granddogs and grandcats.

Stella volunteered and travelled with the First Ward Senior Center. She enjoyed gardening and she loved animals. Calling hours will be on Thursday, from 11am-1pm at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc. 150 Main Street, Johnson City, with entombment in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
