Obituary for Stephen Douglas Cook Stephen Douglas Cook, 63, died suddenly on December 18, 2018 in Mansfield. Stephen was born to Ray and Barbara Cook on February 13, 1955 in Fort Benning, Georgia. Stephen was a man of character who deeply loved his family, God, and the Church and found joy and humor in everything.

This is a legacy he leaves to his wife of 27 ½ years, Nancy, their eight children, and four grandchildren. . Stephen loved family time, and he thrived most when he was with his family, hiking participating in church and community music projects.

Stephen is preceded in death by his father Raymond Lewis Cook and sister Linda Catherine Cook. Stephen is remembered and survived by his wife Nancy, mother Barbara, brother Barry, children Adam, Eben, Andrew, Ian, Owen, Sara, Naomi, and Madeleine, and grandchildren Monroe, Remi, Oskar, and Savannah.
