OBITUARY Stephen J Chinnock March 21, 1944 – July 15, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Stephen J. Chinnock, 74, of Toms River, NJ, passed away at home on July 15, 2018, surrounded by his family. Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Freehold, IL, before moving to Toms River 13 years ago. Stephen was a Chemical Engineer with Nabisco, Delmonte, and General Foods for many years.

He loved gardening, wood working and listening to classical music – especially Handles Messiah. Stephen was predeceased by his parents: Laurence C. Chinnock and Rose (Pifer) Chinnock; and his brother-in-law Adam Firsching. He is survived by his loving wife Anna Firsching Chinnock, of 44 wonderful years; his children: Catherine A. Chinnock, Stephen Chinnock Jr. and wife Cassie, Susan Yates and husband Nick and two grandchildren: Ayden and Shayne Yates.

He is also survived by his brother Larry Chinnock; and his extended family: Veronika Sarcone, Hilda Silletto, Margaret Firsching-Soma, Elisabeth Mullin, and Diane Firsching. ; and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River, NJ .

The funeral service will take place 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Graveside prayers will follow Friday, 11:30 AM at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Stephen’s name to Open Door Pregnancy Center, 533 Lakehurst Road, Toms River, NJ 08755.
