Obituary for Stephen J. Marcinko Stephen J. Marcinko, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center at Somerset in Somerville, NJ with his loving family by his side. He was born in Duryea, Pennsylvania the son of the late Stephen J. and Sophie Marcinko. Mr. Marcinko was a resident of Manville, NJ for the past 51 years.

He was a Foreman and machine tender at the Johns-Manville Corporation in Manville, NJ for 37 years before retiring. Mr. Marcinko was a loving and caring husband, father, brother and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the Johns-Manville Quarter Century Club and the Manville-Hillsborough Elks #2119.

Mr. Marcinko was an avid bowler and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. He was also a coach for his sons Manville M.Y.A.L. baseball team.

Mr. Marcinko was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough, NJ and was a member of the Church Choir for many years. He was predeceased by his wife Susan Marcinko in 2012 and by a sister Dorothy Karboski. He is survived by his two loving sons Stephen M. Marcinko and his wife Margaret of Piscataway, NJ and Joseph G. Marcinko and his wife Erinn of Hamilton Township, NJ.

He is also survived by his eight cherished grandchildren Rebecca, Sarah, Matthew, Benjamin, Anna, Nicholas, Elisabeth and Samuel. The viewing will be on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 4 to 7 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd. , Manville, NJ.

The Funeral will be on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 8:45 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 10:00 AM Liturgy at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough, NJ.
