Stephen J. Rechichar, 71, of Monessen, died unexpectedly on Monday May 20, 2019 at his home. He was born on February 4, 1948 in Monessen, the son of the late Stephen J. Rechichar Sr. and Alice (D’Alfonso) Rechichar. Steve was a 1966 graduate of Monessen High School, a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he received two bachelors degrees and a masters degree in Political Science, and was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Rachel A. Newton-Rechichar, brother, Richard A. (Debra) Rechichar, and by several cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen.
