Obituary for Steve Hendren Steve Hendren, born on February 28, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Calvin and Virginia Hendren, passed away at age 65 on October 12, 2018. Steve was the cherished husband of Peggy (nee Smotzer). He was the loving father of Travis (Lena); brother of Greg (Bonnie) and Jeannie (Sherry); and adored by his beautiful granddaughters, Larkyn and Alysha.

He also leaves behind his best friend and companion, Draco, his dog. Steve served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as a letter carrier for the USPS until he retired in 2008.

Steve loved being outdoors, and was an avid golfer, backpacker, runner and diver. He was a dedicated Bengals fan. Friends and family can pay their respects at the Celebration of Life service on Saturday, November 3 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd, Harrison, Ohio, 45030.

Eulogies will begin at 4:30pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rare Cancer Research Foundation online at rarecancer.org or 112 S.
