Steve Mulkey January 25, 1962 – January 8, 2019 Steve Mulkey, age 56, of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chip Abernathy officiating. Entombment will follow in the Cherokee Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family is receiving friends prior to the service on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Steve was an avid outdoorsman and member of the NRA. He enjoyed hiking, gardening, and collecting knives and guns.

Steve was a hardworking kindhearted man, his favorite quote was “Always stay humble and have the heart of a servant”. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his dog, “Charlie”. Survivors include his daughters, Kaleigh Mulkey and Lauren Mulkey; granddaughter, Liliana Davidson; sister, Kathy Randall (David); best friend, Bo Dover (Sherry); and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
