Steven Barry Anderson Lexington-Steven Barry Anderson, 31, entered the loving arms of Jesus on December 17, 2018. Born January 2, 1987, Steven was the son of H. Barry and Cindi Anderson. Steven is survived by his parents, sister Lauren Swicegood (Joshua), niece Ava Swicegood and nephew Landon Swicegood.

Services will be held December 20, 2018 at 2:00 at Springdale Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Tommy McGill and Rev.

Gary Farmer. Burial will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends before the service from 11:30 am until 2:00 pm.

Steven was a member of Springdale Baptist Church for 30 years until joining Old Samaria Baptist Church in 2017. At both churches, his ministry was greeting everyone with a smile. If you were fortunate, he might let you hold his Pup.

He attended Saxe Gotha Elementary School and received a certificate from Gilbert High in 2008. After graduation, he attended Hopebridge where his friends were like family. In recognition of Steven’s love for his stuffed Pup(s), friends who wish can bring a new stuffed dog to his service.

These will be taken to local hospitals and given to children that may not be able to be home for Christmas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund for Old Samaria Baptist Church, 9457 Old Two Notch Road, Batesburg, SC 29006.
