OBITUARY Steven “Coon” J. LeBlanc December 30, 1957 – December 14, 2018 Mr. Steven “Coon” J. LeBlanc passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the age of 60. A native of St. Gabriel and resident of Gonzales, Mr. LeBlanc enjoyed hunting, fishing, bow making, raising citrus, cooking and gardening. He was a proud member of the NRA, an avid musician, mechanic, electrician and woodworker.

He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Mr. LeBlanc is survived by his wife, Debra Hilburn LeBlanc; sister, Angela LeBlanc; brother, David Paul LeBlanc and wife Karen; grandchildren, Adam & Chad and sister-in-law, Deborah Fleming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul LeBlanc & Vonceil LeBlanc; brother, Gary LeBlanc; sister, Paula LeBlanc and son, Jason LeBlanc.

A memorial gathering will be held at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales on Thursday, December 20 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital and St. Joseph Hospice/Carpenter House for the excellent care they provided to Mr. LeBlanc.
