Obituary for Steven Edward Rutledge Mr. Steven Edward Rutledge, 41, of Lancaster passed away Friday, June 29, 2018. He was born November 19, 1976 in Lancaster, a son of Crawford Rutledge and Joyce Baker Rutledge. Mr. Rutledge was an avid football fan on the collegiate and professional levels.

His favorite college team was the Clemson Tigers and his favorite pro team was the Dallas Cowboys. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Rutledge will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 11 am at Covenant Baptist Church with Wayne Snipes officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mr. Rutledge is survived by his father, Buddy Rutledge and his wife Pat of Lancaster; his mother, Joyce Rutledge of Lancaster; two sisters, Nikki Rutledge and her fiancé Billy Goodenow of Kershaw, Greta Baker of Lancaster; three nieces, Bailey Baker, Dakota and Chesney Goodenow; a nephew, Boyd Baker; and paternal grandmother, Eliazbeth Rutledge of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Rutledge, Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Clarence and Earline Baker. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2018 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Joyce Rutledge, 2472 Pineview Drive, Lancaster and Buddy and Pat Rutledge, 1716 Woodleaf Lane, Lancaster.
