Obituary for Bessie Lee Horne Bowers Mrs. Bessie Lee Horne Bowers, 85, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born November 30, 1932 in Pageland, a daughter of the late Robert Fulton Horne and Bessie Sims Horne. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Bowers will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the graveside at Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mrs. Bowers is survived by a brother, Oscar Joe Horne of Lancaster; two sisters, Inez Whit and her husband General of Wagram, NC and Ruth H. Williams of Lancaster; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bowers was preceded in death by four brothers, Ben Horne, Robert Horne, James Horne and Jack Horne; and six sisters, Ethel Deason, Eula Banks, Jessie Banks, Loretta Plyler, Ola Miles and Katie Langley. The family will receive friends at the home of Ruth Williams.
