Obituary for Henrietta Joyner Deason Mrs. Henrietta Joyner Deason, 83, of Darlington, widow of Albert Eli “Billy” Deason, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Bethea Healthcare-Darlington. She was born February 24, 1935 in Chesterfield, SC, a daughter of the late William Banxton Joyner and Ola Martha Blackmon Joyner. Mrs. Deason was a member of Bethea Baptist Church of Darlington, SC.

As a member of Bethea Baptist Retirement community, she was a frequent visitor to the healthcare facility where she ministered to patients through reading scriptures, praying with people and offering kind words of encouragement. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Deason will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Bethea Baptist Home with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Cockrell and Rev.

Jim Crooks officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Mrs. Deason is survived by two daughters, Christal Dawn Bandy and her husband Curtis of Monroe, GA and Cheri Dwan Lewis and her husband Ray of Greer; five grandchildren, Shea Williams and her husband James, Jacob Eli Deason, Michael Ray Lewis and his wife Jonna, Heath Bandy and Brandon Bandy; and three great-grandchildren, Dillon Williams, Bryson Williams and Brantley Lewis. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Floyd Joyner, Coy Joyner, Shelly Joyner, Wilson Joyner and Jack Montgomery; and a sister, Myrtle Lee Whitaker.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Bethea Baptist Home-Darlington.
