Steven’s Obituary Steven Michael “Mike” Emery, 68, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 5:33 PM, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital of Indianapolis, IN. He was born March 1, 1951 in Valparaiso, IN to the late Jack and Inez Emery. Mike was a 1969 graduate of Attica High School.

His marriage was to Dianne Larson on March 17, 1989 in Lafayette; she survives. Mike grew up in Attica and Lafayette before moving to Crawfordsville. He worked as a switchman on the Norfolk N Southern Railroad based out of Lafayette until his retirement.

Mike began retirement moving to the country in Montgomery County. He enjoyed spending time fishing, hiking, canoeing, exploring outdoors, and most of all, cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving along with his wife are sons, Mick Emery, Matthew Emery, and Josh Emery.

Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Kristen, Scott, Quinten, Adam, Drake, and Nathaniel; 7 great-grandchildren, Myra, Chaise, Kallum, Patrick, Brenton, Bryce, and Luke. Preceding him in death along his parents are a brother, Jackie and a sister, Dianna. Friends may call from 12 noon PM (EST) until the time of Funeral Service 2 PM (EST) Monday, March 11, 2019 at Grace and Mercy Ministries (257 W. Oak Hill Road, Crawfordsville, IN 47933).

Interment to follow in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Mike’s name to Grace and Mercy Ministries. Share memories and condolences online at www.
