Steven M. Tracey, 63, of North Port, Florida passed away November 8, 2017, with his family by his side at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Florida. He was the husband of Leonor (Castosa) Tracey. He was born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

He was the son of the late Louis and Lillian (Durning) Tracey. After graduating from Tolman High School in 1972, Steve worked for many years at Newman Crosby Steel in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Technical Materials, Inc. in Lincoln, Rhode Island and later at Nielsen Media Research in Venice, Florida. He was also a successful desktop publisher.

In his spare time he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing his many guitars and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Steve is survived by a son Patrick J. Tracey, Sr. and daughter-in-law Elissa K. Tracey, both of Randolph, Maine, as well as four grandchildren, Patrick Jr., Jacob, Victoria and Louis. Services will be private.
