Steven W. Spears, age 62, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 5:25 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at Linda E. White Hospice House. Steven was born May 29, 1956, in Evansville, IN, to Kenneth and Helen (Stearman) Spears. He graduated from Reitz High School in 1974.

Steven was a supervisor, auto reinspector, and insurance adjustor for Liberty Mutual. He enjoyed working on cars and helping people. Steven is survived by his sisters, Judy Jourdan, Sandra “Sandy” Maynard (Tim), and Karen Smith (Raymond), all of Evansville; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Rita Sodrel and Susan Wright. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Terry Gamblin officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL. Memorial Contributions may be made to: National Kidney Foundation, Inc. at 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
