Obituary for Sue Bennett Gibson Sue Bennett Gibson, 76, of Madisonville, KY passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at her residence in Madisonville. She was born December 23, 1941 in Madisonville to the late Jewell Glen Downing and Malila Drunell Pritchett. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Bennett.

Mrs. Gibson was a member of Westside Community Church. She loved to cook and socialize with people. She worked at Country Cupboard at the salad bar.

She is survived by her husband, James Gibson; one son, Glen (Gloria) Bennett of Providence, KY; one sister, Connie Downing of Madisonville; one brother, Darrel Downing of Nortonville, KY; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 A.M., Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Hayes and Bro.

Gary Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until service time Wednesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.
