Farrell “Flip” Pisar March 22, 1931 – January 25, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Farrell ‘Flip’ Pisar, 87, of Hutchinson, died Friday, January 25, 2019, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born March 22, 1931, in Halstead, to John and Martha (Misak) Pisar. Flip graduated from Bluff City High School and attended Friends University and Garden City Community College.

He was a retired salesman for the family-owned D and B Construction. Flip was a very active member at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in South Hutchinson. He proudly served in the Air Force.

On April 16, 1955, he married Elizabeth M. Wasinger in Wichita. She died September 19, 2013. He is survived by: sons, Dane Pisar of Hutchinson and Daniel Pisar and wife Judy of Midwest City, OK; brother, Marvin Misak and wife Nancy of Weatherford, OK; sister, Cindy Evinger and husband Dan of Cimarron, KS; grandchildren, Eric Haskins of Hutchinson, and Kelsey Haskins of Grand Terrace, CA; great-granddaughter, Addison Haskins of Hutchinson; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Flip was preceded in death by: his parents; wife; brother, Maurice Pisar; and sister, Carmalita Fronk. Parish Rosary will be 10 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 612 S. Maple St., South Hutchinson. Mass of Christian Burial will follow 10:30 a.m., with Father Juan Garza officiating.

Cremation will take place after the service. A family inurnment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bluff City, KS, at a later date. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
