David Holland, 74, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on January 30, 2019 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville. He was born on July 26, 1944 in Perry County, IL to the late Clyde Benjamin Holland and Alice Ruth Canada Holland. David worked as a coal miner and was an Air Force veteran.

He was an avid deer hunter. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jane Duncan Holland; one daughter, Lisa Carol Holland of Madisonville; and one sister, Cynthia (Larry) May of Tampa, FL. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at McNeely Cemetery in Dawson Springs with Sam Duncan officiating.

Burial will follow at the cemetery. The Hopkins County Honor Guard will be conducting military rites at the gravesite. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Saturday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.
