Susan Carol Farmer age 69, of Richlands, Virginia breathed her last breath on Saturday, May 4, 2019 after an illness at a Richlands area hospital. She was born in McDowell County, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Dowell Rowe and Lola Faye Wyatt Rowe. After graduating high school, Susan went on to nursing school and received her degree as a Registered Nurse.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She had lived most of her life in the Tazewell County area. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Rowe and Stanley Rowe.

Those who remain to carry on her spirit are her: Loving husband, Phillip Farmer of Richlands, VA Daughters: Tammy Tittle and husband, Danny of Bristol, TN Shannon Lee and husband, Henry of Richlands, VA Amber Boyd and husband, Steve of Cedar Bluff, VA Gina Stiltner and husband, Nick of Claypool Hill, VA Vicki Cline and husband Mike of Estill Spring, TN Son, Kevin Stevens and wife, Barbie of Chandler, AZ Sister, Loretta Jewell of Vansant, VA Brothers: Anthony Rowe of Paynesville, WV Darrell Rowe of Paynesville, WV Step-Mother, Dorothy Rowe of Paynesville, WV Grandchildren, Aimee Street and companion, Thomas Boothe; Maddi Hall; Zac Tittle and wife, Tabitha; McKenzie Chapman and husband, Timmy; Jordan Lee; Alyssa Lee; Hannah Boyd; Caleb Boyd; Mikey Stevens; Kendall Lunsford; Adrienne Andrews; Kristen Andrews; Gillian Cline; Great-grandchildren, Laelae Tittle, Mason Boothe and Damon Boothe The Celebration of Life Service for Susan C. Farmer will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Tuesday evening at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Steve Boyd and Rev. Joel Horn officiating.
