Susan D. Amos, age 51, of Villa Rica, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019. She was born on November 8, 1967, in Dallas, GA, and was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Ballew. Susan worked for sixteen years as a paraprofessional with special needs children in the Paulding County School System and was a member of Gateway Baptist Church.

She was the rock of her family and loved them dearly. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Susan loved her kids at the school and never missed a day of work, she enjoyed shopping, gardening and spending time at the beach.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Patrick Amos of Villa Rica, GA; her boys, Brandon (Kayla) Amos of Dallas, GA, and Cameron Amos of Villa Rica, GA; father, James Brown; mother, Jeanette Norton; grandchildren, Kaden Amos and Ace Walker Amos; niece, Lauren Ballew Burden; nephew, Sam Ballew; and great-nephew, Jasper Burden. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Rev. Josh Agan officiating.

Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 15, 2019, from 4 PM until 8 PM. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, was in charge of the arrangements.
