Susan E. McFail, 76, of Kewanee, died Friday, January 4, 2019 at Kewanee Care. Susan was born August 4, 1942 in Rock Falls, IL, the daughter of George and Margaret (Melbourne) Seidel. Susan graduated from Wethersfield High School with the class of 1960.

Susan married Chester Kemerling, Sr., he preceded her in death in 1979. She later married George DeVenney, he also preceded her in death in 1988. (Heather) Seidel, League City, IL; one sister, Anita L. Seidel, Orlando, FL; four nephews and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two step-daughters, Crellin Longenbach, Rhonda Kemerling; and one sister, Arlene Kemerling. Susan worked as a waitress for Sugarbowl in Neponset, she currently was a housewife. Susan enjoyed fishing, watching tv, and playing on the computer.

She was baptized by Rev. Thompson at the First United Methodist Church, Kewanee. She especially loved her family and giving her son and granddaughter a hard time.

Private services will be held at a later date. Burial will be Pleasant View Cemetery. Please leave an online condolence for Susan’s family at www.
