Susan E. Brown (61) of Wapato passed away Tuesday May 7, 2019 outside of Toppenish as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Susan was born on March 16, 1958 in Rock Creek, WA. She was raised and educated on Satus and worked as a head start teacher.

She enjoyed bead working, traditional activities, digging, and gathering. She is survived by her four brothers, Matt Brown, Tony Colwash, Gerald Brown, Ralph Brown; five sisters, Donna Sargeant, Sylvia Hudson, Jovita Colwash, Doris Brown, and Eunice Brown. Dressing services will be held at the Toppenish Longhouse on Friday May 10, 2019 at 1PM.
