Susan Gail Caldwell, 63, of New Carlisle passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. She was born December 21, 1954 in Paintsville, KY, the daughter of the late Chester and Gertrude VanHoose. Susan was a member of Crossroad Baptist Church.

She was an amazing wife, mother and friend, who was loved and will be missed. Susan is survived by her husband of 45 years John; son Adam (Elizabeth) Caldwell; daughter Ashley (Ray) Ginn; grandchildren Cassidy and Ava Caldwell; brothers Dwight VanHoose and Daryl (Rhonda) VanHoose; sister Connie (Dennis) Liming; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 PM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.

A funeral service to honor Susan will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www. trostelchapman.com.
