Susan Gail Spetz, 75, of Cloquet, MN died Monday, May 7, 2018 at her home. Susan was born January 3, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN to Harry and Faye (Weingardner) Cassidy. She grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from Minneapolis South High School.

On March 13, 1964, she married Bruce Spetz. Susan worked for Sister Kenny’s Lunch Ladies and at Peter Hobart Elementary School before moving with her husband to Cloquet in 1982. She then worked for Super One Foods until retirement.

Susan enjoyed doing crossword puzzles; and was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Cloquet. She is survived by husband, Bruce; sons, Brian (Jill Wise) Spetz, and Dale Spetz; sisters, Carol Peterson, and Patricia Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her sister Audrey Nash.

Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Souder-Handevidt Funeral and Cremation Service of Cloquet (www. handevidtfh.com).
