Obituary for Susan Kay Eastus BURLESON – Susan Dendy Eastus, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 4, 2018. Celebration of Life: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at Arlington Heights United Methodist Church Fort Worth. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Harvest House in Burleson.

Susan was born Susan Kay Dendy on July 25, 1955, in Lubbock to Oleita and Kenneth Dendy. She was the oldest of three children. She was surrounded by family and friends.

Susan married her great love, Paul Eastus on January 13, 1978. They had recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. As a young adult, she was active as a rape crisis volunteer and counseled battered women.

“Susu”, as she liked to be called, was loved, is missed, and will be cherished forever. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and a crafter of all crafts, like no other could be. She was loved by her Ya-Ya sisters and will be missed very much.
