Susan Marie (Gast) Coe, 54, Sandusky, died Saturday, December 15, 2018, in Stein Hospice Care Center. She was born on December 15, 1964 in Sandusky to the late Wilber and Carol (Meinert) Gast. She was a 1983 graduate of Perkin High School and was employed by Firelands Regional Medical Center for 23 years as Supervisor of housekeeping.

Sue also worked for the American Legion Post 83, and the Sail Inn. Susan was a life member of the Amvets Post 17, Sandusky, she loved working outdoors, going fishing, and going on one tank trips. Spending time with her family and friends were very important to her.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas A. Coe, to whom she married March 24, 2005; daughter, Jessica Gast, Norwalk; step children, Heather Coe and Thomas B. Coe, both of Arizona; sisters, Cynthia (Chester) Radcliff and Kimberly McCool; brothers, Larry Gast and Robert (Laurie) Gast; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary Gast; and a niece, Kaitlain Gast. Friends may call on Thursday, December 20, 2018, from 1 P.M. until time of funeral services at 3 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave.

, Sandusky. Private burial will take place in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Memorial contributions in Susan’s name may be made to Cancer Services of Erie County, 505 W. Perkins Ave.
