Susan “Susie” Karlene Jerry, age 63, of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, born on August 9, 1955 to her parents, “Shorty” and Ouida Miller. She was a member of Meridian Baptist Church and throughout her life, enjoyed fishing and camping.

Her greatest love in life was visiting with her family and being surrounded by them. Mrs. Jerry is preceded in death by her parents, Carl “Shorty” and Ouida Crouch Miller. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Galen Jerry; one son, Brian Jerry and wife Candi; one daughter, Amy Wood; four grandchildren, Austin Measel, Lane Wood, Madison Wood and Briana Jerry, all of Crossett, AR; four brothers, Billy Miller and wife Katherlene, Bobby Miller and wife Charlotte, all of Crossett, AR, Freddy Miller and wife Nicki of Moro Bay, AR and Jimmy Miller and wife Luanne of Savannah, GA along with a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services for Susie Jerry will be Friday, May 31, 2019 at 2:30pm at Meridian Baptist Church in Crossett, AR with Bro. Garry Massey officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday, May 30th at the church Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Crossett, AR under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers, the family of Susie Jerry would like for donations to be made to Hickory Grove Cemetery.
