Susanne’s Obituary Susanne M. (Digman) Casper, 59, of West Bend, Wisconsin, formerly of Pardeeville, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Kathy Hospice in West Bend. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Platteville, Wisconsin. Fr.

John Blewett will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Platteville. Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, where there will be a parish rosary at 3:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at St. Mary’s.

Susanne was born on May 6, 1959 in Platteville, WI, the daughter of Elmer and Rosemary (Steffen) Digman. She graduated from Platteville High School in 1977 and received her Associates Degree in accounting from Southwest Technical College. On April 26, 1980 she was united in marriage to Vernon Casper at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville.

Susanne worked at Clare Bank, Platteville, until she and her family moved to Pardeeville, Wisconsin, where they lived for 26 years. While living in Pardeeville she worked at Trecek Automotive in the business office for many years. In 201l she moved to West Bend where she worked at Sommer’s Automotive, Mequon.

Susanne loved the outdoors, including gardening, tending to the flowers, hiking, cycling, taking pictures, especially of nature and flowers, and going on motorcycle rides. She also enjoyed quilting and traveling. She was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, West Bend.

Susanne is survived by her husband, Vernon; three children, Tim Casper, Sara (Joshua) Korn, and Jeffrey Casper; one grandson, Samual Korn; five siblings, Ronald (Paula) Digman, Rita (Maynard) Miesen, Peggy (Rick) DeYoung, Mary (David) Kolstad, and Paula “Polly” (Mike) Timmerman; mother-in-law, Rosella Casper; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray (Anita) Casper, Eileen (Jim) Scrivner, Jeanette (Paul) Kirkegaard, Gary (Patti) Casper, Glenn (Rose) Casper, Ann (Louie) Kieler, and Wayne (Cris) Casper; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Rosemary Digman; and father-in-law, John Casper.
