Sybil E. Savey, age 93, died Wednesday, October 31 at Halifax Hospice Southeast Volusia Care Center. Born in Rapid City, South Dakota, Mrs. Savey came to this area in the mid 1950s. She and her husband, Clyde, owned and operated Savey’s Frame Shop and Gallery until their retirement.

She also volunteered at a local thrift shop and was a member of Beta Sigma Sorority. In addition to her husband, Clyde, she is survived by two grandchildren, Laurel Riehle of Atlanta, Georgia, and Brad Ohlson of North Carolina. In accordance with her wishes, services will be private.

In lieu of other remembrances, the family suggests donations to Halifax Hospice, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129, directed to the Southeast Volusia Care Center.
