Sylvia Ann Pace Gordon, 72, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, January 24, 2019, at The Inverness at Spartanburg. Born July 2, 1946, in Pacolet, SC, she was the daughter of the late Grover Odean Pace and Martha Lea Revels Pace. She retired from Milliken & Company and was a member of Solid Rock Church.

Survivors include her son, John Gordon (Wanda) of Boiling Springs, SC; grandsons, David and John, both of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Lynne Hipp (Tommy) and their children, Travis Hipp and Matt Hipp (Emily), all of Columbia, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle Gordon; and sister, Joy Thompson. Visitation will be 12:00-12:45 PM Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, with a service honoring her memory following at 1:00 PM, conducted by Chaplain Marie Graeper.
