Obituary for Sylvia Jewell Cummins Arnold Sylvia Jewell Cummins Arnold, 76, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018. She was born in Perryville, Kentucky a daughter of the late George and Mary Elizabeth Deering Cummins and was the widow of Ronald Wayne Arnold, Sr. Sylvia enjoyed raising all flowers and working in her flower gardens. She liked to take drives across the knobs in the fall to see the changing colors.

Feeding and watching the birds in her yard was a favorite activity as well as sewing, reading, and writing. All animals had a special place in her heart. Survivors include three sons, Ronald Wayne (Becky) Arnold, Sr., Barry Wayne Arnold, and Rocky (Dianna) Arnold, two daughters, Kathy (Lawrence) Emerson, Rhonda Lynn Lyle, ten grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene and Marion Cummins. The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday September 4, 2018 at Perryville Presbyterian Church with Rev. Pat Chamberlain officiating.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (noon). Pallbearers will be Samuel and Jacob Arnold, Marion Cummins, Jr., Buddy and Lee Smith.
