Tad Alan Bailey, 50, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. He was born on August 1, 1968 to Woody and Janet Bailey in Warner Robbins, Georgia. Mr. Bailey honorably and faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Gulf War.

He worked in logistics for the Bose Company. Mr. Bailey was a member of the 1987 graduating class of Silver Creek High School and Speed Memorial Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Elwood Bailey, grandfather, John Schosser , his grandmother, Ann Konkle and by his aunt, Judy Grimes.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Bailey of Sellersburg, his mother and father, Woody and Janet Bailey of Sellersburg, his step-son, Nicholas Knoerzer (Melissa) and his brothers, Paul Bailey (Kara) of Sellersburg and Drew Bailey (Katie) of Charlestown. Mr. Bailey is also survived by 4 Nieces. A Memorial Service will take place at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.

Visitation will take place on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
