Tammie’s Obituary Tammie Leeann Merrick Stogsdill, age 54, passed away unexpectedly but among family on Friday, March 8th, 2019 in Somerset. She was born on February 6th, 1965 in Somerset, Kentucky to Arvel Dale Merrick and the late Enza Pearl Merrick. She leaves behind two children, Joshua Shane Stogsdill (and wife Courtney) and Kaity Noel Harper (and husband Kevin).

Tammie was a stay-at-home mother while her two children were young and later worked at Science Hill School where she was loved by the children and was a constant of laughter for her co-workers. She was an active part of The Creek Church Somerset, where she served almost weekly. Tammie is survived by her father, Arvel Dale Merrick, and one sibling, Anthony Dale Merrick.

A visitation for Tammie Leeann Merrick Stogsdill will be held on Monday, March 11th, 2019 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky. A celebration of life honoring Tammie Leeann Merrick Stogsdill will be held Monday, March 11th, 2019 at 7:00PM at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Pastor Nate Herren officiating. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Pulaski County affiliate of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
