OBITUARY Tammie Michele Boothe November 15, 1965 – September 2, 2018 Tammie Michele Thomas Boothe, 52, of Lynchburg, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Guggenheimer. Born on November 15, 1965 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Frances Nuckles Jackson and George Robert Thomas. Tammie worked in the real estate business as an office manager.

For the last 9 years, she has made her home in Campbell County with her special fiancé, Tony M. Ferguson and her beautiful dog, “Whiskey”. She enjoyed her flowers, coloring books, and cooking and was a member of Calvary Cross Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by a special grandmother, Lottie Keesee Otey and grandparents, George and Ruth Thomas.

Tammie is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Brooke Boothe of Lynchburg; son, Korey Marshall Boothe of Lynchburg; two grandsons, Jeramiah Boothe and Chase Boothe both of Lynchburg; her mother, Frances Nuckles Jackson of Lynchburg; her father, George Robert Thomas of Madison Heights; her fiancé, Tony M. Ferguson; ½ brother, Troy Eugene Osborn of Virginia Beach; and two ½ sisters, Anita Thomas and Cynthia Thomas. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Central Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Fitzgerald officiating and Deaf Pastor John Wyble assisting.

Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider the financial needs of the family.
