OBITUARY Barbara Hunt Ripley October 14, 1936 – October 11, 2018 Barbara Anne Hunt Ripley, 81, 0f Lynchburg, died Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the widow of Calvin Coolidge Ripley. Born in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hunt and the late Ida Jordan Hunt.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Ripley. Barbara Anne was a member of Clearview Baptist Church. She is survived one son, David Ripley of Lynchburg; two sisters, Jeanette Collier and her husband, Frank of Florence, S.C. and Linda McFadden of Roanoke and a special uncle, John Beahm and his wife, Vernie of Lynchburg.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 7 p.m., Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please go to GoFundMe and make contributions to Funeral Expenses for Barbara Ripley.
