Terry York, age 41, of Defuniak Springs, Fl passed away unexpectedly from complications of a stroke on July 10th at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Al. Terry worked alongside his father at Beal Parkway Lincoln Mercury Volvo in Ft. Walton Beach.

He was an avid Auburn fan and a dedicated gymnastics coach of 25 years. Terry was preceded in death by his brother Tommy York. Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Polly York of Defuniak Springs, Fl; son, Dylan York of Hernando, Ms; daughter, Madison York of Senatobia, Ms; sister, Rachel Yeakos (Chris) of Paxton, Fl; brother, Jonathan York of Defuniak Springs, Fl; nieces, Emma York and Kaylee Yeakos and nephew, Jacob Yeakos.

He also leaves behind a host of loving cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. There will be a visitation from 12-1:00 pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Niceville with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Heritage Gardens Cemetery.
