Obituary for Terry Joe Davis Terry Joe Davis Terry breathed his last breath at Mayo Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida on June 22, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones. Terry Joe Davis, 57, of Vero Beach was born on July 3, 1960 in Sandusky, Ohio to William Timothy and Carolene Elizabeth Davis on July 3, 1960. He joined the US Navy in 1978 and retired in 1993.
After retirement, he drove trucks from 1994 to 2014. Terry had 2 children, Francesca married to Clayton White, and Natalie and 2 step children, Robbie and Leeanne. Terry loved his mom, Carolene who have been with him to the end.
Terry had 2 brothers, Timothy married to Sally Davis, and Todd married to Terrie Davis. Terry was very proud of his grandson, Clayton, the “Little Man” and shared precious moments with granddaughters Meghan and Shyanne. Terry had numerous nieces and nephews who loved and adored him: Timmy, Greggy, and TJ, Allan, Michelle, and Brandy, Vyera, Joshua, Lennon, and Janjan, JR, JT, and Kevin, Nicole and Nishielle, Erin Joy, Elaine Anne, and Erish Mae, Kaylie and Kelsie, Kirsten, Love and Isiah.
Terry was married to Maria Salome E. Davis on February 20, 2002. Terry’s dog was named Porthos. Meriam and Terry shared a life of travel, laughter, fun, and family time in Florida, Georgia and California.
Meriam shared her Catholic faith with Terry who experienced a religious conversion before his death. Terry loved his brother and sisters-in-law: Bett married to Lambert Ramirez, Jun and Doris Sampang, Bong and Shiela Esposo, Feline and Bimbo Araneta, Khalil and Yeslie Esposo, Recel and Jorvin Seviila and Connie. Terry loved Meriam’s mom.
Terry loved their special friends, Rita and Tere and several friends in Trillium. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to IRSC Foundation, 3209 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34981 where a scholarship fund will be started in memory of Terry. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 7590 26th Street, Vero Beach, FL. 32966. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
