Obituary of Terry Henson AIKEN, SC—Terry Cheney Henson, age 67, entered into rest peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Terry was born November 27, 1950 in Atlanta, GA to the late Louis and Bettyann Cochran Henson. He has been a resident of Aiken, SC for the past five years, having formerly lived in Asheville, NC.

He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He received his bachelor’s degree in Finance and spent his career in real estate for twenty years. He was an excellent photographer and had a quick wit.

Additionally, he was a pilot and enjoyed flying his own aircraft. Terry was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. Terry is survived by his beloved and dedicated wife, Patricia Henson; two sons, Matthew Morgan Henson (Stephanie) and John Michael “Jrock” Henson (Kate); a stepson, John Hornsby (Anilia); grandchildren, Liam Henson, Farris Henson, Emerson Hornsby, Anjali Hornsby; a brother, Mike Henson (Wilma); a nephew, Reese Henson (Katie); and his service dog Beau.
