Gallaway, Thelma E., of Fort Worth, Texas, was born October 4, 1930, in Prim, Arkansas to Samuel and Naomi (nee Turney) Dollar and entered into rest Monday, February 25, 2019 in Watauga, Texas at the age of 88 years, 4 months and 21 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Virgil Vane Gallaway and nine (9) of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by, three (3) children, Sherrill (Al) Crider of Fort Worth, Texas, Joy Oliveros of Montgomery City, Missouri and Donnie (Brenda) Gallaway of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, seven (7) grandchildren, Bradley Crider, Aaron Crider, Jean Cessna, Ferrill Gallaway, Misty Gallaway, Matthew Oliveros and Rachael Oliveros, thirteen (13) great grandchildren, one (1) sister, Velma Brown of High Ridge, Missouri, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who depended on her savior Jesus Christ. She was deeply loved in return. She was family-oriented and adored the time she was able to spend with them.

Thelma was always very active and maintained a neat and orderly appearance. She was detailed oriented and it played out in every area of her life. She was a very generous person that would give her last dime to help someone in need.

She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Service Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY.
