Uxbridge- Theresa A. (Trottier) Bosma, 86, of Providence Rd. in the Linwood section of Uxbridge died Sun. Oct.

21, 2018 at Milford Regional Hospital after an illness. Her husband of 62 years Nelson H. Bosma predeceased her on Aug. 25, 2012.

She is survived by her 3 children Mary Kay Boisvert and her companion James Cadrin of S. Grafton, Frank N. Bosma and his wife Anne of Douglas, and Catherine A. Mullin and her husband John of Linwood; 3 grandchildren Chad R. Cheras, Glenn R. Bosma, and Hannah M. Murphy; 2 great-grandchildren Connor J. Cheras and Emelia C. Cheras; a brother Donald Trottier of Holden; and many nephews and nieces. She was sister of the late Martial Trottier and Robert Trottier. Born in Canada on May 11, 1932, she was the daughter of Eugene and Beatrice (Trottier) Trottier and lived in Linwood 57 years.

Mrs. Bosma worked 25 years as a Nurses Aide for Beaumont and Northbridge Nursing Homes. Over the years she worked at the Dollar Tree Store, the Linwood Salvation Army, and the Bernal Yarn Co. Always a visible part of the community, Theresa was very kind to others and willing to help anyone in need. She enjoyed word puzzles, playing cards, knitting, crochet, and trips to the casino.

She loved taking bus trips with her husband Nelson as well. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary Post 3439 in N. Brookfield and St. Mary’s Church. Her funeral will be held Thurs.

Oct. 25 from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. Uxbridge with a Mass at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, 71 Mendon St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Wed. Oct. 24 from 5 to 8 pm.
