Theresa’s Obituary Theresa Diane Roberts-Hartley, 49, went to her Heavenly home March 16, 2019 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital, Idabel, OK, surrounded by her loving family. Theresa was born September 5, 1969, in Eufaula, AL, to Daniel Elliott and Diane (Wise) Roberts. Theresa was a member of the Broken Bow Church of God and had lived in Broken Bow for 6 years and 10 months.

She enjoyed scrapbooking, photography, singing, and playing the piano. Theresa was the women’s ministry president, an adult Sunday school teacher, and a minister of the Gospel. Theresa and Paul Hartley were united in marriage February 3, 1990 in Orange Park, FL, and have spent a wonderful 29 years together.

They enjoyed sharing their ministry to others, singing, and raising two beautiful children together. Theresa was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bill and Lura Wise; and paternal grandparents, Marvette and Willene Roberts. Theresa leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Rev.

Paul Hartley, of the home; children, Jared Paul Daniel Hartley and Jenna Diane Hartley, all of the home; parents, Danny and Diane (Wise) Roberts, of Eufaula, AL; sister, Marsena Roberts-Cunningham, and her husband, Rev. Matthew Cunningham, of West Monroe, LA; three nieces, Sarah Cunningham-Barr, and husband, Ryan, of Virginia, Shelby Cunningham, of South Korea, and Madison Cunningham, of West Monroe, LA, whom referred to Theresa as Aunt TyTy; great-nephew, Allen Barr, of Virginia; a host of other relatives and many friends, including special friends, Carla Holmes, Renee Wright, and Cheryl Mills. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 11:00AM, at the Kent Funeral Home, in Eufaula, AL, with interment to follow at Georgetown Cemetery, Georgetown, GA.

Rev. Matthew Cunningham will officiate and Clyde Daniel Creech, Ricky Lee Roberts, John Roberts, Alan Blackburn, Logan Blackburn, and Matt Geddings will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019, from 6:00 – 8:00PM, at the Kent Funeral Home, Eufaula, AL.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00PM, at the Broken Bow High School Auditorium with Pastor Clint Bray officiating.
